Over the past two or three weeks, I have spent a lot of time reminding educators that the World plays defense.
It doesn’t matter how long you worked on your district, school, and/or classroom reboot plan, it’s not perfect. And no, you haven’t thought of everything. No matter how good you think / thought your plan is, when the doors open and students return, something isn’t going to work. Anticipate this and adjust the plan, in the moment.
Then tomorrow, see how the World responds and adjust again.
