The author draws vignettes from the history of business , the military, extreme sports (mountain climbing Mt. Everest) and other fields to demonstrate his ‘Leading Up’ principals using examples and non examples. How to do it right, and how to get your head handed to you. I strongly recommend this book to anyone aspiring to leadership, regardless of where on the ladder they currently are. Superintendents should really pay attention to his corporate world examples. They apply to our situation almost perfectly.
